Calculate
BMI
Body Mass Index (BMI) is a simple screening tool used to estimate whether a person is within a weight range that’s generally considered healthy for their height.
It’s calculated by dividing weight by height squared, and the resulting number places someone into categories like underweight, healthy weight, overweight, or obese.
While BMI can be a helpful starting point for understanding overall health, it doesn’t tell the whole story—things like muscle mass, age, ethnicity, and body composition can all affect the result.
So, BMI is best used as a guide rather than a judgment, and ideally alongside professional advice and how you feel in yourself, both physically and emotionally.
